UEFA Has Been Forced To Apologize To Bayern Munich For Fans Of A Misunderstanding Flag Of Humor.

In the Champions League match against Italian side AS Roma in September, fans of Bayern flag banned guns in Latin translated as "the Romans at home" - a reference to a draft Monty "Life of Brian" Python.

UEFA is concerned that the message of ethnic discrimination and can incite violence, but on Wednesday, admitted that the joke was lost in translation.

"We recognize the currency was unfortunately misinterpreted by UEFA," a statement read.

"Congratulations to the end [the fans] in creating humor that unfortunately was never shown, and we apologize for the ban."

This is the second apology in a few weeks with UEFA for fans of Bayern. Earlier this month, it reversed its position on the banners references Bavarian town of Dachau after realizing they were not associated with a Nazi death camp located there once
