The German defense has struggled this season but says he is improving slowly and get used to the league, which he believes has "the best players in the world."
Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker admits he needs to "improve" your game to adapt to life in the Premier League.
27-year, arrived at Arsenal from Werder Bremen in the summer transfer window, but has struggled to maintain the intensity in the league. German International believes to be healed, but admits that he was amazed by the physical union.
"I need to improve," he told BBC Sport. "It 'hard work to make important club games every three or four days, which is very physical. I take my time, but I'm getting better very quickly."
The dominant central defender welcomed the Premier League, despite its difficulties to settle in his physique.
